Co Curricular Activities

• केंद्रीय विद्यालय न -२ ,फरीदाबाद को राजभाषा की प्रगति में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने के लिए राजभाषा शील्ड योजना 2017-18 के अंतर्गत सांत्वना पुरस्कार से 22.5.2018 को सम्मानित किया गया l
• Madhvi of X got Gold Rank in International Picasso Art Competition.
• Mr. Shahid judged for competition of India Skill on 14.07.2018.
• The Regional Sports Meet for Girls Volleyball – U-14 & U–19 was conducted successfully w.e.f. 26/04/2018 to 28/04/2018. Hon’ble Sh. S. S. Rawat, Deputy Commissioner visited the venue and showed his satisfaction. Team of 17 Girls selected for the National Levels in U–19.
• Coaching Camp of VolleyBall U-19 and Table Tennis U-14, 17 & 19 conducted in the vidyalaya successfully with effects from 13.06.2018 to 22.06.2018 & 16.06.2018 to 22.06.2018 before participating in National Level, 24 students and 4 Escorts teacher participated in the camp.
• The 49th KVS National Sports Meet (Rope Skipping – Boys) was conducted w.e.f. 02.07.2018 to 05.07.2018 where 326 students and Escorts participated from 20 Region of KVS.The events were judged by 20 officials. The school conducted closing ceremony on 5th July, where Certficates and Medals were distributed to winners and participants.
• 11 students from our Vidyalaya participated in different events at different venues – Delhi, Chennai Bhuvneshwar and Mathura after attending coaching camp.
• Jai Rana of VIII got Silver Medal in Lawn Tennis in individual as well as team game and got selected for SGFI.
• 12 days In Service Course of PGT (Biology) was conducted in school where 45 participants from 10 regions participated actively. Guest Experts / KVS Experts interacted with teachers during the course Smt. K. R. Chugh, Assistant Commissioner, Gurugram Region inaugurated the programme and Smt. Arun Lekha (Associate Professor) was guest on valedictory Shri G. C. Pati Nominee Chairman also blessed the teachers. Teachers enjoyed trip to Satyug Darshan. The program was also enriched with hands on activities, Yoga Aerobics, Cultural activities & creative activities etc.
• Smt. Sangeeta Raghuvanshi, PGT (English) was resource person for TGT English In service course at KV -1 Faridabad w.e.f 17.5.18 to 28.5.18
• Principal Mrs.Seema Srivastava, PGT English Smt. Nisha Garg and HM Smt.KV Saxena attended 3 days Aarohan Programme on Value Education in May and June-2018.
• The Vidyalaya participated in the Gyanotsava w.e.f. 05/04/18 to 07/04/18 where the Innovative Project “Pustakouphaar” was presented by school for Gurugram Sambhag. Mr. Prabhat Mor (Librarian) & Mr. Shahid Ali (Art Teacher) participated in the Program. The Project was appreciated by one & all.
• German language has been offered as hobby from class VI to VIII.
• 6 Scouts have attended the Rajya Puruskar testing camp at KV 1, Ambala w.e.f. 26.07.2018 to 28.07.2018.
• 3 scouts selected for Rashtrapati Puruskar.
